Short bio

Pyra is a Bangkok-born artist whose self-defined dystopian pop combines electronic music, Thai-rooted sound and direct social commentary. She won Best Solo Act From Asia at the 2022 BandLab NME Awards, was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2022 and Prestige Thailand’s 40 Under 40 in 2024, and founded Change Music Asia to support artists creating social impact across Southeast Asia. Her live history includes Burning Man, Garden Beats, The Great Escape, Tallinn Music Week, London’s Roundhouse and SXSW Sydney. She also opened for Flume in Bangkok and has spoken at TEDxAssumptionU, Music Matters and SXSW Sydney.
